This is an exciting time to be Director of Creative Future. The organisation's literature strand is strong and highly reputable with the high profile Creative Future Literary Awards making an impact across the literature sector. The organisation's arts strand is currently under a process of review, research and development and it will be the new Director's role to shape the new arts programme and secure funding for it. After recent extensive funding for organisational development, the organisation's strategies and procedures are streamlined and up to date, ensuring a smooth running and efficient organisation. A new Director is being sought to bring fresh energy, new ideas and new contacts to the organisation. Alongside delivering its core services Creative Future also looks to influence regional policy and strategy via the Director's role chairing local arts and health working groups and being a passionate advocate for underrepresented artists and writers in the arts sector.
