Our Day Out Music and Dance for older people

Our Day Out'€™ is a programme of creative activities for older people. Creative Arts East hosts twice monthly free dance and music-making activities in Norfolk, aimed at giving people a chance to socialise and try new things in a safe and understanding environment.
The 'Our Day Out' Sessions are inclusive to all older people in Norfolk. We are also especially supportive of those living with early to mid-stage dementia and their carers, as well as other older people in the community who may feel isolated, or who are living with long term health conditions.

Sessions take place in Dereham, Watton, North Walsham Attleborough, Thetford and Wells-next-the-sea!

All workshops are led by professional arts practitioners. Tea and cake is also included!
Past activities have included: Dancing with Glasshouse Dance and Green Candle Dance, Digital Music Making, Song Writing, African Drumming, Trip to Rambert's Headquarters in London, Watching a dance performance at the Norwich Theatre Royal, and much more!

From January till March 2018 we will be running some fantastic singing workshops with Mary and Kim and from April till June 2018 Tessa will be delivering some fun music making workshops!
